We Wuz Robbed - 11/30/00
Dismay is tied with heavy favorite OSW heading into the last game. The game begins, territories on Keep...as our armies meet middle, we kill their ghol pack, and their captain drops! Scandal erupts. We replay the game.
The game begins, territories on Keep...we pinch their middle force in the nick of time and are pushing out to a huge percentage advantage...when they sneak a 7th flag right out from under our noses. ARGH. Thus endeth Dismay. OSW goes on to finish 2nd in the tournament...so that really means Dismay was, like, 3rd, right?
NML Playoffs - 10/27/00
...and fhota remains winless. A 3-0 defeat over the charming, but underrepresented fhota puts Dismay into 4th place in the division...a spot in the playoffs is theirs to lose...and we come into the final match of the season against PVC. Dismay needs a match win to make the playoffs, and a sweep plus some help from Ancrik to avoid the Tribal juggernaut in Round 1. THE PRESSUAH.
3-0 wenering of PVC, never losing even 50% of our units in any game. So! On to the playoffs and osw in the first round!

MWC Post-Mortem - 09/01/00
The Extinction Agenda team puppeted insidiously by Malkavian and Skynxnex of The Violators bowed out of MWC2K after two victories in the Double Elimination rounds over the formidable opponents of Geezers from Hell and Evil Empire. Malkavian finished with a captaining record of 10-0-1, and Skynxnex had mad ratioz to boot. Next up: National Myth League 2, with even more Violators emerging from the woodwork to join our new .ea friends and old school buppetmon Sid the Gr8 on team.dismay.
The Original Five-Ghol Match - 07/09/00
With MWC season upon us, we were surprised
to discover that The Violators vs. Civil Order from the semifinals of
MWC98 was the original reference point for a 5-ghol match. So, in the
interests of sharing how great we are, we dug our MWC
film set up out of the archives for your viewing.
